Our School

Wrights Carolina Karate Center was established in 1998 in Jacksonville, NC.  Since 1998, Sensei Wright has trained thousands of students both at the karate school and in the Marine Corps.  Many of these students earned Black Belts.  Along with training those students, Wright’s Carolina Karate Center has been home to numerous instructors many of which have held National titles and accolades.  Among those that have graced our doors with their invaluable talents are:

Being a member of Wright’s Carolina Karate Center is extremely valuable to the community as well.  Because of the students, Wright’s has accumulated its own share of awards and prestige. We have collected hundreds of books for literacy, participated in the Toys for Tots program since opening our doors and have collected thousands of dollars and toys, sponsored numerous families through the Christmas Cheer Program, as well as sponsoring local baseball, hockey, and softball teams. Wrights contributes to the Fraternal Order of Police, local churches, Relay for Life, elderly homes, and dozens of businesses and organizations. We are a member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, local school organizations as well as church organizations.  As a student here you are doing so much more than leaning to punch and kick. 

Our character education program and leadership program benefits the community as well as the students.  Students benefit the most because they learn the arts as well as self-improvement while helping others grow and support the community. Because of the student’s involvement in these programs that help the community, we have been rated in the top 100 schools in the country on numerous occasions.  Wright’s Karate Center provides the highest training instructors and the top of the line training equipment and facility to help its students have a greater advantage.
