Sensei James Wright E-mail Me

Sensei Wright is the owner and operator of Wright's Carolina Karate Center since 1999 and has made it the number one martial arts training center in Onslow County. Through his curriculum he has successfully promoted over 25 Black Belts.

Sensei Wright has been involved in martial arts for well over twenty years. He became interested in the Art of Karate at an early age training with his father, and started formal training at the age of 13.

He then went onto join the Marine Corps and is currently the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3, where he holds a black belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. He is currently ranked in 16 different Martial Arts styles.

Nate “The Great” Marquardt

Nathan Marquardt is a mixed martial artist with a professional record of 25 wins, six defeats and two draws.

"Nate the Great" is currently a top contender in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight division (185-pound limit) with a perfect record inside the Octagon (4-0) since his arrival in 2005.

He is the seven-time Middleweight King of Pancrase Champion, 1999 World Vale Tudo Federation Champion, 1999 I.M.A. Rumble In The Rockies Champion, 1999 Bas Rutten Invitational 4 Lightweight Champion, and 2000 Ring of Fire Middleweight Champion.

And on July 7, 2007, Nate will look to cement his legacy as one of the best in the sport when he challenges Anderson Silva for the middleweight crown in the main even at UFC 73: "Stacked" at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California.
