KARATE—Base form and system is Fudozen Shorinji Kempo. It has evolved over the years and is a traditional martial arts system combining all the elements of being a solid karate black belt while adding basics from other systems like judo, akai, jiu jitsu, kali and more. It is a full body workout with a personal development mindset and has a built in character development program within each rank.
YOUNG CHAMPIONS KINDER KARATE—Mommy and me and young champions classes are designed to teach children the basics of karate and coordination skills plus how to interact with other children and adults in a group setting.
WEAPONS TRAINING– The 11 weapons we practice are a combination of traditional weapons and self defense weapons. For example we practice tradition forms with bo, chucks, sai, and tonfa and self defense against a knife, chain, clubs, or gun.
SELF DEFENSE CLASSES– The self defense class is for those that want a workout and something they can learn and practice without working on belts or wearing the traditional karate uniforms. This class incorporates all the combative elements of karate, kickboxing, and jiu jitsu
BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU- BJJ promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique – most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person. BJJ training can be used for sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition or self-defense. Sparring (commonly referred to as "rolling") and live drilling play a major role in training, and a premium is placed on performance, especially in competition, in relation to progress and ascension through its ranking system.
PANCRASE– In a nutshell it is MMA. There has been different rules in different events as the sport has evolved. Pancrase or Pankartion encompasses all striking, takedowns, and submissions of many styles of martial arts.
KICKBOXING / MUAY THAI / STRIKING FOR MMA—There are two levels to these classes. The people that are students and wish to train and learn and people that want to do the same but also want to fight. There is no requirement to fight but we offer that option for those that do.
MMA FITNESS– MIXED MARTIAL ARTS FITNESS PROGRAM—Focus is fitness and cardio training.
BOXING– Work with a master and Boxing Hall of Famer JC Davis
MARINE CORPS MARTIAL ARTS PROGRAM (MCMAP)- At times we offer the MCMAP program to help Marines get promoted in that system. There is no charge for that class. When we have instructors we offer them an opportunity to teach as well as get Marines promoted in MCMAP.
