Sensei James Wright is the owner of Wright's Extreme Martial Arts. He has been training in Martial Arts since 1983 and holds black belts in Fudozen Kempo, Goju Ryu, and GoShin Jitsu. Sensei Wright has competed nationally in the Karate AAU circuit. In addition to holding Black Belts in the systems listed above, Sensei also holds ranks in Aiki, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Kali, Tai Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Shotokan, and Isshinryu. Sensei Evan Rodriguez is our head Karate Instructor. Sensei Evan is the youngest student ever to be promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt in our Kempo System. He has been training for 9 years and has won over 400 trophies from various Karate Tournaments. Sensei Evan is the coach of our Demo and Tournament Teams, Kinder Karate, Kempo Programs, and XMA.

Sensei Deanna Wright is Sensei Wright's daughter and instructor of Kempo classes, Private Lessons, and runs the Patch incentive program. She has trained for more than 10 years and has won numerous competitions.

Mary Muller is the instructor of our Mommy and Me program. She has trained for 3 years in Karate and is a Certified Little Dragon Instructor, and Certified SWAT team member.  Mary is the one responsible for all of the running of the school.  Without her heading up the team and allowing us to teach martial arts the business would surly fail.  We appreciate Mary for allowing us to live our dreams.

Wright's Extreme Martial Arts was established in 1998 in Jacksonville, NC. Since 1998, Sensei Wright has trained thousands of students, both at the karate school and in the Marine Corps. Many of these students earned Black Belts. Along with training those students, Wright's has been home to numerous instructors many of which have held National titles and accolades.
